1. Change of Mind
As we specialise in factory second and refurbished appliances offered at
discounted pricing, we are unable to offer refunds for change-of-mind
purchases. This applies to all items once payment has been completed.
We encourage customers to take the time to ensure their selection is
right for them before proceeding with payment.
2. Sight Unseen Purchases
Customers are always welcome to inspect products in store prior to
purchase. If you choose to proceed with a Sight Unseen purchase (meaning
the item has not been physically inspected), you acknowledge and agree that:
- Factory second
appliances may have cosmetic imperfections such as dents, scratches or
surface marks. These do not affect the appliance’s performance and are not
considered faults. - Cosmetic
variations that do not impact functionality are not grounds for a refund,
exchange, or compensation. - If a change of
mind occurs before collection or delivery, and the product has been
inspected in store, a store credit may be offered at our discretion. - In the unlikely
event that your selected product becomes unavailable, you will be offered
either a refund or a store credit. - By proceeding
with payment, you confirm that you understand and accept these conditions.
3. Factory Seconds & Refurbished
Products
Factory Seconds are products identified by the manufacturer or retailer as:
- Having cosmetic
imperfections; - Being
ex-display or discontinued models; or - Previously
returned items.
All factory second appliances are tested and/or serviced to ensure they
operate as the manufacturer intended. These products are sold at a reduced
price and are covered by a non-cosmetic warranty for peace of mind.
Refunds are not available for:
- Cosmetic
imperfections or visual blemishes; - Change of mind
after purchase; or - Issues that are
repairable and covered under warranty.
Refurbished or second-hand products are professionally reconditioned to
full working order and include an in-home warranty within a 40 km radius of the
Brisbane CBD.
4. Warranty Coverage
- Factory Second
– BNE Warranty
Includes in-home service within a 40 km radius of Brisbane CBD. Outside
this area, warranty support is provided on a return-to-base basis. - Factory Second
– NAT Warranty
Includes Australia-wide non-cosmetic warranty, either in-home or
return-to-base, depending on location. - Non-Cosmetic
Warranty
Covers functional faults only and does not extend to cosmetic damage,
visual imperfections, or missing minor accessories.
5. Payments
Full payment is required prior to collection or delivery of all products.
6. Delivery
Delivery dates are confirmed once full payment has been received.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our
services or business operations. Continued use of our website or services
indicates acceptance of the most current version of these terms. We recommend
reviewing them periodically.
These terms form part of the agreement between Brisbane Whitegoods
Factory Outlet and the customer. Accessing our website or completing a purchase
confirms your understanding and acceptance of these terms. Nothing in these
terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
