What are Factory Second Products?

Factory Seconds are products identified by the manufacturer or their customer as having imperfections. These imperfections are usually cosmetic but do not affect the product's functionality. They are sold at a reduced price.

Are Factory Second Products New?

No, Factory Second products are not new. They come with a Factory Second warranty, not a retail new product warranty. These may include customer returns or imperfect products.

Factory Seconds may or may not have been used. The manufacturer does not provide a history of the product. They come with a Factory Second warranty and are typically products that have been returned by customers or rejected during quality checks.

Do Factory Second Products Have Warranty?

Yes, all Factory Second products are checked or serviced to ensure they function as intended by the manufacturer. They come with a non-cosmetic warranty either nationally or within a 40km radius to Brisbane CBD. Visit our Warranty Info page for more information.

What is the Factory Second Warranty (NAT and BNE)?

Factory Second – BNE: Covers products within a 40km radius to Brisbane CBD, with an in-home warranty. Outside this area, it is a return-to-base warranty.

Factory Second – NAT: Offers nationwide coverage with either an in-home or return-to-base warranty.

What Does Non-Cosmetic Warranty Mean?

A Non-Cosmetic warranty means that any cosmetic imperfections such as scratches, dents, or missing minor accessories are not covered by the warranty. The product will work as intended despite these cosmetic issues.

Types of Factory Seconds

What Types of Factory Seconds Do You Offer?

Ex-Demo/Ex-Display Units: Used for promotions or demonstrations but fully functional.

Customer Returns: Products that have been returned and serviced to ensure full functionality.

Carton Damage: Packaging damaged in transit, but the unit is in good condition.

Scratch and Dent / Cosmetic Blemish: Items with cosmetic imperfections but fully functional.

Discontinued Models: Older models replaced by newer versions and no longer in production.

Liquidation Items: Products available from liquidation processes.

Additional Information

What is the Difference Between Factory Seconds and Refurbished Products?

Factory Seconds are imperfect products sold at a reduced rate, while refurbished products are used items that have been reconditioned to ensure they meet the manufacturer’s standards.

Do Factory Seconds Include Accessories?

Some Factory Seconds may be missing minor accessories or packaging. These are not covered under the warranty.

Can I Get a Refund for Cosmetic Imperfections?

Refunds are not provided for cosmetic imperfections, change of mind, or repairable issues. Read more about our returns policy in our terms & conditions.

Do You Offer Delivery Services?

Yes, we provide delivery services across Brisbane and surrounding suburbs. Delivery fees and times may vary based on location and product size. We also offer click and collect on all orders. You can find more information on our Deliveries & Pick Up page.

Do You Offer Click and Collect or Product Holds?

Yes, we offer both product holds and click and collect options for your convenience. Here's how it works:

One (1) Hour Hold

  • We can hold your items for up to one (1) hour if you need time to come into the store. Please note, no extensions are available without a deposit. If you don't pick up your items within the hour, they will be returned to sale.

Two (2) Week Hold

  • You can hold your items for up to two (2) weeks with a deposit of 10% of the item value (or $100, whichever is greater). If you need more time, we offer an extension to an Eight (8) Week Hold.

Eight (8) Week Hold

  • For goods that are fully paid for, we can hold them for up to eight (8) weeks from the original purchase date. If you require an extension beyond this period, we apply storage fees.

Special Terms & Extensions

  • If you need an extension beyond two weeks, full payment is required within 48 hours of the two-week period ending. If payment isn't made, the items will be returned to the showroom for sale.

Storage Costs

  • Holding your goods for up to two weeks with a deposit or up to eight weeks when paid in full comes at no extra cost. However, if you need to store your items for longer, additional storage fees will apply.
