"Panel Ready" and "Built In" both describe integrated appliances, but they're not quite the same thing. A Panel Ready fridge is designed to have a custom cabinetry door fitted to its front, so it blends in completely with your kitchen once installed, no metal or plastic fascia visible at all. A Built In fridge, on the other hand, is designed to slot into a fixed cabinetry opening with fitted side panels and ventilation, but it may still show its own branded front panel rather than taking a custom one.
